Description: Explore dozens of active learning lessons geared to important life-long skills, including decision making, diversity, collaboration, managing stress, self-esteem, anger management, substance abuse, relationships, goal setting, communication, and more. Especially applicable for middle school teachers.
Recommended Grades 4-9 |
Objectives:
- Participants will understand the importance of active learning in the classroom.
- Participants will learn specific strategies to help students become more skilled in the following areas (among others): problem solving, decision making, collaboration, stress and anger management, goal setting.
- Participants will apply their learning by implementing active lessons in their classrooms.
